St. Sava wooden Orthodox church built in the rectangular form (the ark symbol), has all the typical features of an Orthodox church. The fact that the building was placed on a hill distinguishes it from regular households, and in this way it brings it closed to the sacrum sphere. The finial of the Orthodox church in the form of a cupola has a special meaning as well – despite the fact that it determines its exceptionality against the background of other buildings in this town, it has also some symbolic significance – depending on the number of cupolas they symbolize: God, Holy Trinity, Jesus and 12 apostles. What is more, the number of cupolas is not optional, but it is subject to strict regulations.
